Expect the unexpected!
With a weather forecast for dry and clear conditions I arrived early at Marazion to capture a sunrise at St Michaels Mount. Having decided on a composition I set up my camera on the tripod, fitted my polariser and had taken some test shots, when I suddenly felt the air change and turning around saw this massive storm cloud over Penzance moving rapidly towards me. Changing position quickly, with hardly any time to think about the viewpoint, I adjusted my settings to capture the new scene, and managed to take a few shots before the deluge of rain hit me, I was soaked through in seconds! A lesson learnt on the value of looking behind you now and again - and to expect the unexpected!
